Smoke Fired Ceramic Bird

This is a large ceramic bird inspired by the birds that visit the garden. It is hand-built using white stoneware clay, burnished and biscuit fired in an electric kiln. It is then packed in sawdust and other organic materials and fired overnight. This is a unique piece.
