Andalusia Series

These pieces are inspired by Islamic and geometric patterns following a visit to Andalusia in 2023. Using a process of layering and assembling hand-formed tiles and sprigs I build surfaces that evoke the precision of architectural detail and the organic transformations that come with time.

Sculptural Bird Forms

This is a small selection of my birds. They are press moulded, altered and then sprigs and decorative items are added. They are coloured with either underglaze or oxides. Gold leaf may be applied after the second firing.
